Gallery Opening Reception: The Language of Color (David Farmer)

For the month of November we will be hosting beloved local artist, David Farmer for his exhibition “The Language of Color.” In Farmer’s own words, “My paintings illustrate the use of color as an emotional language to transform the energy and nuances of nature in a way that invites contemplation and interest.  It is a process of pursuing a strong impulse to become a deeper part of something—a place, an atmosphere, an event—to embrace in another way.”

David Ray Farmer is an artist-in-residence at Art Center of the Bluegrass in Danville.  After thirty plus years as a painter he has work in hundreds of private and corporate collections.  Education includes a BA English, art school, Columbus College of Art and Design, and professional art workshops

The exhibition will run 11/4-11/28 with a gallery opening reception on 11/5 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
