Calling all who dream of enchanted worlds where magic is possible, good battles evil, and fantastic creatures roam!

Join our Fantasy Book Quest to discover your next great reading adventure! Now on Saturday, Februrary 7th.

Pick up your quest map in the lobby, then travel to various magical realms throughout the library. Explore a variety of fantasy book subgenres as you enjoy crafts, games, activities, and more!

• Epic Fantasy:  Are you in search of grand, magical adventures, where heroes embark on treacherous journeys and use their swords and sorcery to defeat evil? Try an epic fantasy book! These high-stakes tales full of dungeons and dragons are sure to get your adrenaline going!
• Magic Schools:  Are you in the mood for a magical tale of mystery and intrigue set in the world of academia? Try a book about a magic school! But be warned! The classes may teach you how to wield magic, but these educational institutions are sure to be hiding some dark secrets...
• Cozy Fantasy:  Are you looking to snuggle up with a warm, comforting tale full of friendship, community, and delicious baked goods? Try a cozy fantasy book! These low-stakes stories may be set in magical worlds, but their focus is often on scenes of everyday life in relaxing spaces like cottages, bakeries, or bookshops.
• Myths, Fables, and Fairy Tales:  Are you feeling nostalgic? Or are you in the mood for a fresh take on a beloved childhood classic? Try a book focused on myths, fables, or fairy tales! These enchanting stories are full of magic, curses, and all manner of strange creatures.

This event is part of Friends of Fantasy Day in downtown Danville.
