In the Spotlight

Join us at BCPL for Just Try It!, a program series for anyone to come and enjoy a new experience or activity without the cost and commitment that could hold them back. This month, local art teacher Hillary Zimmerman return for a 2-part Halloween-themed drawing class for adults. Registration required. Click here for more info.

On October 29 at 4 PM, step into the squish laboratory to conjure the quirkiest fidgets for this Halloween season, using ingredients you can find hiding in your home! Will you be able to summon the spookiest squish that will leave your friends begging to trade with you? (This event will be held offsite at Jennie Rogers Community Center.) Click here for more info.

BCPL is proud to offer the Literacy Bell Program, which applauds children who have read their first book independently. If your child has read their first book by themselves within the past year, they are invited to attend a community celebration on November 7 at 10 AM. At this special event, children will have the honor of ringing the meetinghouse bell at Constitution Square Historic Site and add their name to the "Book of Readers." Registration is required. Click here for more info.
