Thursday FunDay: Grit & Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation

Thursday FunDay logoJoin us at every Thursday morning in June and July for special performances, all free!

June events will be held at Gravely Hall (at Danville High School, 203 E. Lexington Ave., Danville).

July events will be held at the Boyle County Performing Arts Center (at Boyle County Middle School, 325 Cunningham Drive, Danville).

Grit & Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation

Join us for animal fun as Grit & Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation discusses each of the rescued animals they bring and their importance in nature. Grit & Grace rescues, rehabilitates and releases back into the wild Kentucky’s native wildlife mammals. They receive wild mammals of all ages and species.

Around 90 percent of the animals needing help are victims of human intervention, meaning they were the victims of human-afflicted injuries or accidents (whether accidental or intentional) that left them orphaned, injured, sick or abandoned. Grit & Grace gives them back what humans have taken away from them. Grit & Grace Wildlife Rehabilitation is 100 percent volunteer-based and -operated and runs solely on donations or personal funding.

ASL interpretation will be available at this event.
