Reading and Racecars at Ponderosa Speedway

Reading and Racecars at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday June 27 at 11 AMRacing | Reading | Food | Crafts | Fun

Join us at the Ponderosa Speedway for a fun racing-themed event. Hear stories about cars and the people who race them, make a car-related craft, learn from speedway owner Ryan Willis how a real racetrack works, and see race cars and a fire truck up close.

That’s not all! Once the cars have cleared the track, there will be a Power Wheels/bicycle race. Not happy with the way your bike performed in the race? No problem. One lucky winner will get a brand new bike courtesy of Ponderosa Speedway!

Make sure to stick around for our feature event -- the library’s own Lottie Ellis Bookmobile will compete against four other counties' outreach vehicles in a race!

Don’t forget to bring your appetite. The speedway will be providing FREE hot dogs, hamburgers, and chips to all in attendance.

***This event will be held off-site at Ponderosa Speedway.***
