Learn How to Get Published

March 25, 2016

The Library offers a monthly "How-To" program series for adults, where participants can explore the information and skills needed for a new hobby or activity, guided by a local expert. On Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6:00 pm, the Library will host a program for aspiring writers called "How to Get Published," presented by author Jenean McBrearty.

Getting published is easier than you think. This month at our "How To" program, seasoned writers and unpublished beginners can learn how to reach billions of readers by following a few simple rules.

Jenean McBrearty is a graduate of San Diego State University, who taught Political Science and Sociology. She won the EKU English Department’s Graduate Non-fiction Award in 2011, and A Silver Pen Award for Fiction in 2015. Her fiction, poetry, and photographs have been published in over 150 print and online journals and magazines. Her serial Raphael Redcloak: Guardian of the Arts was chosen by the Santa Clara County California Library as an online Young Adult (YA) selection, and her serial, Retrolands, can be found on Jukepop.com. Her novels, Helmut Wolf, and Tales of the German Mind, are available through Lulu.com.
