Proposed Pipeline Project Information Available at the Library
The Library has received a document from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) outlining the proposed natural gas pipeline project and asking for public comment through May 18, 2015.
This FERC document is available for review online (Proposed Pipeline Project) and at the Library Reference Desk.
Public comments may be filed online at www.ferc.gov or via U.S. Mail. Address information and comment filing instructions are listed on page 6 of the FERC document (see "Proposed Pipeline Project" link above). Remember to refer to Docket No. CP15-88-000 when submitting your comments to the FERC.
Additional documents, including "An Interstate Natural Gas Facility on My Land? What Do I Need To Know?," are also available online at www.ferc.gov.
A public meeting for updates on the pipeline issue is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Inter-County RECC, 1009 Hustonville Road (S. Fourth Street) in Danville. Mark Morgan and Tom Fitzgerald will be providing updates and information for all citizens, and particularly for landowners.
