Dinosaur Discovery

On display through Friday, April 1st.

The Library is hosting Dinosaur Discovery, an exhibit on loan from Dr. John “Jack” Hankla. The exhibit features over 120 fossils and castings from his curated collection, including a megalodon! The exhibit is located in the Children’s library and Library Lobby on the main floor and is accessible to visit anytime the Library is open.

The collection’s pieces come from around the world during years of discovery. Dr. Hankla’s collection has traveled to museums, schools, and libraries across the country. Recently, some of the pieces in the exhibit were featured in the Jurassic World movies!

For a sneak peak at some of the items in the exhibit, visit BCPL Special Collections & Archives.

Field trips and virtual visits welcome! Call 859-238-7323 and ask for the Youth Services department or email Kinsey at khisle@boylepublib.org to arrange a visit.
