This Week at the Library: December 27-30, 2017

December 27, 2017

Storytime at the Library
Wednesday, December 27th at 10:30 a.m.

Due to the Christmas holiday, there will be no Toddler or Homeschool Storytime at the Library this week. Preschool Storytime will still be held on Wednesday, December 27th at 10:30 a.m. All regular storytimes will resume in January.

Git Out o’ the House
Wednesday, December 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

On Wednesday afternoon, grab some friends and come hang out at the Library to play board games and watch a movie. It's a great way for teens to simply get out of the house during a long school break. Snacks will be served. (For ages 13-18.)

Winter Reading Program
Begins Monday, December 18th

The Library will offer a Winter Reading Program beginning on Monday, December 18. The program is designed to encourage kids to keep reading over the school break, as well as provide a fun way for them to get to know their local library better.

Participants can pick up a Winter Reading Program bingo sheet at the library. The bingo sheet lists different activities to be completed. When enough of the activities are completed to get a bingo, the sheet can be turned in to the Children's Library where the child will receive a free book plus an entry for the Grand Prize drawing, giving them a chance to win a new sled. Participants will be able to earn an additional drawing entry if they complete all of the activities on the sheet.  (Limit one bingo sheet per person.)

The Winter Reading Program is for all youth ages (0-18 years) and will run through January 15, 2018.
