Library to Host Author Visit and Book Signing

On Monday, March 6th at 6:00 p.m., the Library will host an author visit with Donald Curtis, author of Coach Adolph F. Rupp: His Wit and Legacy. Curtis will share about the research he has done on the legendary coach Adolph Rupp, focusing on his charisma and sense of humor. He'll talk about the game of basketball, the history of Kentucky basketball, and Rupp's wit and legacy.

This event will be held in the Community Room at the Library.

About the author: Donald R. Curtis is a sixth generation Kentuckian and a student of its history for many years. He has authored many articles and his work has been featured in six books, including The Kentucky Encyclopedia, The Encyclopedia of Louisville, and the Kentucky Explorer Magazine. An avid genealogist, Don is retired and lives in Nicholasville, KY with his wife, Deborah. They enjoy their five children and twelve grandchildren.
