The Friends of the Library Spring Film Series kicks off on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Community Room at the Boyle County Public Library. This film series will feature a selection of courtroom dramas. Some of the very best Hollywood movies contain courtroom sequences that are crucial to the story being told. The eight films in this series are centered on outstanding courtroom drama, including legal battles over a variety of newsworthy social issues.

The films, which feature well known directors and award-winning actors, will be introduced each evening by Charles Vahlkamp, professor emeritus at Centre College. There is no charge for admission, and free popcorn will be available. The film series will run on most Thursday evenings through May 5, 2016. An interpreter for the deaf is available upon request by contacting the Library 48-hours in advance at 859-238-7323.

Due to licensing restrictions, the use of the film titles is prohibited outside of the Library. However, the descriptions of the films are listed below, and inquiring minds can find out what movies will be shown by either visiting or calling the Library.
