Holiday Foods Around the World
The Friends of the Library continue their Fall Program Series on Monday, December 7th at 4:30 pm with a "Holiday Foods Around the World." Cook, hostess, and professor of anthropology at Centre College, Phyllis Passariello will discuss holiday food traditions from many cultures. The author of Eating Culture:The Italian Yankee Cookbook, Passariello has travelled extensively in Mexico, Ecuador, Western and Central Europe, and the Middle East, and brings her knowledge of international holiday cuisine with her.
This event will be held in the Community Room at the Library and is free and open to the public.
