The Boyle County Public Library hosts a variety of events for teens (ages 13-18). Julia Basil, our programming coordinator, offers regular weekly programs for teens including Teen Crafternoon, Teen Challenge (STEM), Teens Write, and Teen Book Club. This week we have two programs for teens:
Teen Challenge • Tuesday, February 21st at 4:00 p.m.
Teens can test their knowledge of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts and engineering design abilities at Teen Challenge. At this team competition, teens (ages 13-18) will compete in a Paper Airplane Cargo Challenge. This free program will be held in the Community Room at the Library.
Teen Book Club • Friday, February 24th at 4:00 p.m.
The Teen Book Club, for ages 13-18, will be discussing Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Snacks will be provided. To receive a copy of the book, please see Julia at the Library.
